Figurehead

It's day 219of 2018!!! Inspired by the rules of the Character Design Challenge ( https://characterdesignreferences.com...) I decided to do a few characters designs based on themes from a generator: http://www.springhole.net/writing_rol...

Today's theme was inspired by "old fashioned ships" I drew influence from sails, the figurehead and naval uniforms to create this piece though I'm not sure if I hit the mark with my colours. Fun fact: I've climbed the mast of a tall ship before. It was terrifying.
